Celebrate Our Heritage Gala 2026

Support the vital work of story keeping and historical inquiry by partying to raise money for your Vashon Heritage Museum. This year we'll be celebrating the 1970s on Vashon with a dinner catered by the Hardware Store, the live 1970s musical stylings of Croaker, the comedic musings of Jeff Hoyt, and vibes set by DJ Prince Voltaire. There will be a complimentary bar with beer, wine and soft drinks.

The 1970s was a subculture-palooza! Come as a K2 ski bum, punk rocker, disco dancer, or Vashon farmer. Costume opportunities abound.

The sit down family style dinner will be served by the Vashon High School Drama Club, and the event will honor Yvonne Kuperberg and Captain Joseph Wubbold III for their years of commitment to Vashon History.

Whether you want to put together a 70s reunion table or just attend with a friend the gala is going to be one for the history books!
